This is simply a collection of Scripture Messages published in the Mission Field between 1906 and 1909, a previous volume having been published with the above title. The office I hold bids me enter daily into the trials and joys of many persons in many lands, all engaged in one work. And I have attempted, in some of the following pages, to expound Scripture through the medium of human lives as they prove by experience the truth of the written Word. It may be that here and there heart may answer to heart, albeit my characters are all of them creatures of imagination: yet none the less I.
